Sunday Stroll
I am obsessed with blazers at the moment. Obsessed I tell you! Throw in a scoop back top, stripey vintage scarf and a pair of belted slacks and I’m ready for my Sunday stroll.
It’s fess up time though because this outfit was totally inspired by the magnificent Avant Blargh – one my fav style bloggers who resides in my beloved Chicago. If you are not aware of her wonderful website already then I suggest you familiarise yourself with it pronto. So many pretty outfits. You might die.
Whilst my weekend consisted mainly of me laying about in my pj’s, doing the occasional bit of housework and generally relaxing, we did manage to make it out the door on Sunday afternoon. Usually we hit up Greenwich so we decided to shake things up a bit (yes, we really are that exciting!) by heading into Blackheath – I know what you’re thinking, could we be any more adventurous?!
Okay, so we might not exactly be thrill seekers but we do know how to enjoy the simple things in life….walks in the sun, good conversation, beer. Oh yeah, our walks mostly always include beer, which is a nice incentive to get out of the house.
Also, I’d made a few online purchases on Friday night (I finally found my holiday bikini and it’s awesome – so excited to show you) so we were trying to conserve the monies. Plus, the Hubster had a bit of work to catch up on so our Sunday stroll really was our only outings, which was fine by me. I’m an easy girl to please.

Hi! I didn’t know how else to contact you. I recently watched your youtube videos and really like them! Was wondering if you plan on doing more? I have been vegan for a little over two months and I’ve swapped out a lot of my skincare products, but I still have a lot of my MAC makeup and other unhealthy beauty products. I would like to know if you can do a make up tutorial sharing what you use. I love make up and haven’t really worn make up much since the transition to vegan. I’ve been looking for a good and fairly inexpensive vegan make up line. I’d like to know what else you recommend. Sorry, this has nothing to do with your Sunday Stroll blog post. Hi Hayley, glad you like the videos. I’ve just filmed my first video in ages, it should be up today at some point although it doesn’t feature any make-up. I can definitely do a make-up vid though, will try to film it over the next week. I wouldn’t worry about using up the make-up you already have- better that than it go to waste. But yes, I can absolutely film a make-up tutorial:) thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, I really appreciate it!
