    Congratulations on your new cookbook. I have preordered and look forward to receiving it. I have been vegan for a couple of years after being vegetarian for many years. I love to cook (when I have the time) and try out new recipes or play around experimenting, I was trying not to buy more cookbooks, but I couldn’t resist.
    I have a loose leaf tea company (Primarily organic and fair trade) , I wold love for you to review my teas, but I am in the US and do not ship overseas yet, Maybe in the future.
    I’m curious where the name Peasoupeats came from?
    Best of luck with the book sales. I have a good feeling about it.

    Hi Jackie! That is so terrific, I am delighted to hear you have pre-ordered the book, I really hope you like it! You must let me know what your favourite dish is when you get it:)

    With regards to the blog title, it’s quite simple really … it’s my Husband’s nickname for me, haha. The ‘PeaSoup’ bit anyway;) When I first started the blog it was all about my daily ‘eats’ and so the blog/name was born. I would really love to try the tea – perhaps when I’m doing some book promo in the US next year we can arrange something?

    Anyway, thanks so much for contacting me and another massive thanks for pre-ordering the book… you have put a major smile on my face:)

    I have just bought your book and have to tell you how fabulous it is. I have been a vegan now for 3 whole weeks and I feel fantastic, no more bloating and sick feeling. Your recipes are great they work! I made the biscuits yesterday the lemon version absolutely delicious. Keep it coming look forward to your second book!

    Having had a complete interest in vegetarian food , I purchased your book to discover Vegan food and new recipe ideas! I have the book over a month now and I’m totally hooked!! Love love love every single thing about it! I have discovered this blog as a result and have scrolled through it and discovered even more fabulous food ideas and all healthy and dairy free! I’m a foodie with a keen interest in healthy eating and have reduced my dairy intake quite significantly! You’re book has made life easier to lead a consistent and healthy lifestyle! I have tried many of the recipes and they all work!! A huge thumbs up from me and I’ll most certainly be purchasing your second book

    Bought your book for a friends Xmas gift, loved it so much I ended up getting copies for myself and another friend! Come Christmas day my grandmother suprised my brother and I with a copyeach !! As I reccomended the book so highly she will be keeping the spare copy. A fantastic book! Already made the granola, brownies and tofu. Now most of my friends and family will be making delicious vegan treats too. Thank you!

    Hellllllo, I want to make your split pea Dahl and flatbreads tomorrow… I have green split peas in, can I use them instead of yellow do you think? I’m not sure I have time to get more today that’s all and will need to soak overnight… X

    Hello Aine,

    Thank you ever so much for providing me with a chance at cooking some healthy wholesome, easy to follow vegan food! My son has been dairy free since realising it caused him eczema so this book truly is wonderful thank you!

    I notice that there aren’t any calorie notes – do you have anywhere I can go to to view the calories on each dish at all?

    Hi Aime

    My 9 year old decided to become vegetarian earlier this year, and Keep it Vegan has really helped me to support him with delicious recipes that even my meat loving husband will eat-it was Broad Bean Fritters last night which were amazing and I have just made a batch each of chocolate peanut butter and carrot cake bites ready for snacks during the week.

    I’m also looking forward to trying out a few of the recipes over the campfire at the outdoor nursery where I work over the next few weeks.

    I love your vegan recipes and they are helping me. I wanted to tell you that I made your Hole Mole Black Bean Chili for tea but did not have any dark chocolate. thinking on my feet I pulped some fresh beetroot and mixed that in. it was absolutely lovely! I feel you give me courage to make these adaptions and try things I would have not thought of trying before. thanks

    Recently your new book, love it. I’m vegetarian but often cook vegan to be healthier.I made your aduki bean casserole tonight and even my carnivorous Derry husband devoured it! You are awesome, every time he tells me ‘you wouldn’t find that at home’, I refer him to you lol x

      oh wow, that’s so amazing, I’m thrilled you both enjoyed it! … haha, and yes, Derry isn’t exactly vegan friendly but it is getting better – slowly but surely;) x

    Your bircher muesli recipe uses 150g rolled oats to 100ml of rice milk. That amount of milk doesn’t even wet all the oats. Should it have more milk?

      hi paddy, yes, it will seem dry until you add the apple, yoghurt and agave … the small amount of milk is enough to soften the oats but not drown them – it’s a little different in texture to regular overnight oats but feel free to add more milk if you prefer. quick tip, I like to squeeze the grated apple over the oats, which also adds a bit more liquid to the mix.

    I have just discovered you from Mindful Chef and I have already ordered 2 of your books. Can’t wait to start cooking vegan!

    Can I just suggest that you change the font colour for website content? It is very hard to read as it does not stand out from the background. Is is too pale in my opinion. I would use a dark black at least,

    I saw you on the What food do you eat or something like that last night on RTE1. I saw your blog adverised under yuour name and made a note of it. I’ve just come across your Savoury Pancakes and will try it out later today. I’ve been a vegeetarian since 5th November 1979 ( I bought ‘The BEan Book’ by Rose Elliot and put the date oin it, that’s how I know the date I started my vegetarian journey. *I’ve dabbled in vegan and macrobiotic diets over the years and would love to incorporate your vegan recipes into my diet. My sincere condolences on the death of your dad. I know how hard that can be. My dad died when I was 26 of Motor NEwuone Disease and even though it’s a long time ago now, I still miss him. Allow yourself to go with the flow of your emotions and you will move through your grief more easily. I am a Buddhist and will chant for you and your dad. The best of luck with all that you do. I still have to explore the rest of your blog and am looking forward to that.

    Your cookbook has finally awoken a joy of cooking in my fiance! I’ve been waiting years for him to finally get curious about making delicious (and healthy!) food, and the time has finally come. He ordered 2 new books off amazon, and just when I thought he couldnt be more driven, he purchased yours at the book store (he says it was partly because your cute too)!! We made your mac and cheese last night and it was fantastic. Thank you! (I also made that quinoa snickerdoodle breakfast – so good!) XO
